Emerging cooking solutions - Innovative solution to climate change and unhealthy cooking. More people die from smoky cooking than from malaria. Did you also know that the forests of Africa are disappearing? Switching to clean cook stoves and sustainable fuels is the fastest and most effective way to change this around. Emerging Cooking Solutions is a social enterprise based in Sweden and Zambia. Together with our friends, partners and sponsors we are creating an energy revolution in Africa. By switching from charcoal to pellets and clean-burning stoves families will be relieved of smoke and soot – each family will also save money, reduce CO2 emissions and save 6 tons of living forest each year. Our innovative solution to climate change and unhealthy cooking has been appointed Climate Solver 2012 by the World Wildlife Foundation WWF.
