OrganoWoods strategic collaboration

OrganoWood has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Bergs Timber Bitus AB. Bergs Timber Bitus is Sweden’s largest wood treatment facility and is using a number of different wood treatment techniques. The collaboration concerns production, sale and marketing of OrganoWood®-modified wood. Under the agreement, Bergs Timber Bitus will produce OrganoWood®-modified wood on behalf of OrganoWood but also sell and market OrganoWood®-modified wood to industrial customers. For performing the modification, Bergs Timber Bitus has set up and installed a new production line which will be used to produce the modified wood. “We regard this collaboration as a key part of our industrial infrastructure. We are very happy to have found such a serious partner to start up our new wood modification process”, says Mårten Hellberg, CEO OrganoWood.
