Mundekulla Sustainability Conference

During the weekend 17-19 July Mundekulla will arrange its first international Sustainability Conference. The Conference will be followed by a five-day camp from the 20th to the 24th July. Over the past several years, climate change has finally received worldwide and sustained attention. The Swedish presidency of the EU will start in July 2009 and the climate talks in Copenhagen are scheduled for November and December 2009. The discussion on sustainability will hopefully intensify and broaden to include our way of life as a whole. It is time for a conference on truly sustainable living and sustainable ways of life. Welcome to a weekend with focus on sustainable communities, sustainable relationships, sustainable economy. A series of presentations by representatives from different communities such as Findhorn Foundation (Scotland) and Damanhur (Italy) – telling the story of how they started, how they've overcome obstacles, how they have grown and prospered. Questions and answers, discussions and sharing. Time to think, to talk, to listen, to find inspiration and to formulate and express one’s own vision of a sustainable way of life. Each session will be followed by discussions and sharing in smaller groups.
